What are the delivery charges?
The delivery charges are based on 3 main factors.
- First of all it depends on your location, we ship all over the world.
- Secondly, it depends on your urgency, we offer our customers the possibility of receiving the package via normal post or express post.
- And thirdly, it depends on the size and weight of your order.
This process it seems difficult but we simplify it for you, once you check out before payment you will see your shipping options and costs.
When can I expect my parcel?
Most orders (unless otherwise indicated) are processed within 3-4 working days. For orders shipped within India it takes 3-7 working days until delivery. If you live in a remote area, anticipate a few days more. For international orders please give 10-21 days if sent via registered postal service and 7-10 days for EMS Speed Post. In busy times of the year or in rare occasions registered parcel can take up to 4 weeks to arrive. If you have not received your parcel within this time please contact us so we can track your parcel for you.
Which countries do you ship to ?
We can ship to any country that has a postal service. All orders are despatched directly from our offices in India to your postal address so shipping is available worldwide.
Will I be liable for customs charges when I order online?
Orders that are sent outside of INDIA may be subject to local import taxes, duties and fees levied by your country. Any such charges are to be borne by yourself as we have no control over these charges. Please check with your local postal authority / Customs office about such possible charges as Auroville.com can not take any responsibilities for parcel being rejected by the local customs.
Some countries' customs like Germany are now rejecting nutritional supplements (due to pharmaceutical company driven laws). When a package is rejected by customs the package may be destroyed or customs may contact you asking if you want it destroyed or returned. The return fee is often prohibitive so the product is destroyed instead. it would be wise to check with the customs department of your country to gain assurance that the products you are ordering will be accepted.
Because of issues like these we require that customers assume all financial risk for their order once it leaves India.
